The Government Finance Profession organises a conference for Trainee Accountants in July each year. There is also another for Qualified Accountants in November, as well as conferences for Heads of Finance Professionalism/ Senior Professionals that take place three times a year. This conference is open to all AATs (Finance Technicians) and CCAB trainee accountants (Trainee Finance Professionals) in central government departments, agencies and NDPBs, the NHS or Local Government - in fact, anyone employed in the public sector who is interested in taking up a career in finance.
